You're missing the reactor to make it weld properly. Just rectifying the current for DC only does help though.
I'm subscribing now!
I worked on a tugboat many years ago and we had to tie a proper bowline fast in all conditions Almost as fast as that shown , never forgot it It becomes automatic I don’t think the method shown would cut it in a howling wind on a heaving deck
Thanks bud

Hi sir. After tabbing and stringing we dip in uv cleaning (acetone+ip ) after that we facing a issue of removal of tabbing please suggest remidi .
I think you are handling the cell too much. They can be very fragile.
I love when you hook up the jumper cable the rooster crows.
The dog just say : 😑
Why no results?
Gracias por compartir tu sabiduria .. una abrazo fraternal desde Panamá.
Dude! That's a big feat, build also...😮 REALLY Cool tho❤😊
Sasquatch does exist and he's American lol
Will that make welding stainless easier?
No, it is easier to stick weld with ac current.
Fuel costs so much now days and $200 a month to heat my house is way to costly. I wonder if there is anything simple and cheap without the smoke to burn in my indoor chiminea that will burn for 5 - 6 hours ?
Awesome. Thank you
inventors is that to hard to invent a simple, cheap battery bank to be conected to electricity all the time when we are using the battery bank to weld, meanwhile we weld, so we never be out of charge and the welding machine will be in operation all day!
Just use 7018 AC or 7016, the hot topic of welding. E60xx series electrodes suck. 7016 or the Excalibur rods will give you everything you need to satisfy your welding needs while fighting arc blow.
Thank you Mark, very good video. :)
It would work better using a 4700uf 63v Capacitor across the pos and neg Output of the diode rectifier.
Wonderful reaction and nice video showing this and the difference between the materials. Nice one fella. I'm curious if brass has any affect with this? 🤔
Nice. However you need some space to perform this, which you don´t allways have... Personally I prefer a method, where I don´t have to swing a line and don´t have to hope for the correct swing and where I have permanent control over how the line moves and behaves. This is how I do it: ruclips.net/video/6FX99DeR1aU/видео.html If posting a comment containing a link to an alternative is against netiquette, please let me know and I will remove the link. Thanks
Hey man that’s a cute dog!

When you never grow out of that ant killing stage
You really do need to add a reactor to the dc welder conversion
Best wind turbine video on RUclips. Make more stuff for us to watch!
Virtually useless knot. It may be a micro second faster than a number of other knots but can't be done in a confined area and is easy to screw up. I prefer a secure knot that can be tied under any circumstances.
Mark, I miss your content. You have some amazing skills, I wish you were still sharing more of what you do.
I'm still doing the same old things, just not as much. Getting older and working less.
M s me idea
Your fingers came close to that blade. Thanks for showing, I won't be bothering to open up my filter
Idiot u are killing innocent ants
this girl is on fireeee
Seems every guy with two fathoms of line is on YT showing off this useless knot. If you can't tie any one the numerous versions of a bowline in the same amount of time this isn't going to cure you.
Wrong. This is trained in the US military. Seems every guy on youtube comments has an opinion to share tho.
I'm not sure the military is necessarily a credential, I was in the navy and worked as a professional mariner and commercial fisherman for fifty years so no I'm not wrong.
use a vortex concrete walls
Did you use this in a faster speed on the press or is best on a slower speed, Mark?
Lower speed, I do most of my drilling in the low range.
@@markp0177 thank you, I really appreciate it
Practical an effective! Very impressive!
Do you have an updated link to the product? It's no longer on Amazon or eBay. Thanks!
I stopped offering them, I do have one kit left that screws to a pole for $105 with free shipping.
But the aluminium one is half as long
do you have updates on this?
Looks good, really. Like how you think.
This design and the MACREY TURBINES RENEWABLE ENERGY
Works great
I started saving those dish mounts a few years back just for this very day. Thank you for sharing your video I can now do my own by following the steps you have laid out. I currently have 2 poles in the yard to move. Plans are solar heat water for my pool to warm it up a bit and next years project is to do a watering system for my mini garden. Pray for me please. Happy New Year 2024!!!
I suppose that would be easy and cheap. I built an adaptor long while back with ideas from people in USENET. I built my own bridge out of single diodes on heat sink. I took off a 15/amp variac, the core and wound suitable windings, but FIRST. You need to cut one side of the whole core all the way through so it does not saturate. It seemed to work very well. Was using a Sears AC unit of bought then gave away. Need a some sort of band saw to cut core. The series inductor smoothes out the pulsating DC.
I really appreciate this! I've always just used 6011 with my buzz box but got a box of 7018 for nicer quality welds and have been totally frustrated with them. So reassuring to hear that it's not just my skill level! I'll be taking your advice and converting my machine to DC. Thanks again.
I wish you could actually see anything happening tbh. Good try though.
Confirmed, works. I also did put one drop of Rose's metal at on cell, where a tabbing wire will start, seems making it smoother gliding with soldering iron. Flux is must, I used simple rosin flux and thin tassel.
Hard to tell on the video, but it looks like the "straps" don't slip into any slots on your mount, nor is the mount that contacts the pole curved in any way to better "hug" the pole. I think you may have problems or at the minimum slippage should there be any significant wind.
I have change the design to where it is curved and notch. Thanks for watching.
Tie the knot ahead of time.
